Class Description

In this class you will start learning the basic steps of Salsa Dancing and then move on to beginners, intermediate and advanced turns and moves from Miami/Cuban Style of Salsa Dancing. All moves are learned in a circle following the "Rueda de Casino" pattern, in which the caller will name the moves and all couples in the circle execute them simultaneously following the beat of the music. Although all moves are learned in a circle where couples will exchange partners during the dance, these moves can be also applied in one-on-one dancing.

This type of dance originated in Cuba in th 50's and made its way to Miami, Fl, where it evolved and became very popular. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced dancer, this class will definitely help you improve your salsa dance skills for both leads and follows in a very fun and social way.
